Overview of Scene Builder Widgets
The Scene Builder is a playground for creative minds looking to optimize their streams. In this section, we'll look at the Scene Builder Widgets. These free widgets enable impressive visual design and open the door to various features and customization options.
Browser Source
This widget enables the display of a browser source. It can be used, for example, to display web pages or content from the internet directly within your application. If you want to incorporate an external widget, such as Kappamon or similar tools that work with browser sources, you can integrate them using the Browser Source widget.
Color Box
The Color Box creates a visual color box that can be used as a highlight or frame. This versatile widget allows for an appealing presentation with a simple color. For example, you can create a live chat background, overlay the live chat on top of it, and make the color box slightly transparent. This allows the game to be shown through the live chat in the broadcasting tool.
Countdown
The Countdown widget displays a timer that counts down to a specific time or event. It is useful for generating suspense or highlighting upcoming events in real time. Or if you want to show during your break, you'll return soon. How you use the countdown is entirely up to you.
GIF
The GIF widget allows the display of animated GIFs in your stream. Aside from the video widget, this is a great way to integrate movement and dynamics. Upload your GIFs or use the Tenor GIF library.
HTML
With the HTML widget, you can display any HTML code in your stream, including CSS and JavaScript. This flexibility opens up numerous possibilities for customization and integration of external content.
Image
The Image widget displays a static image from your media library. It's perfect for incorporating images, graphics, or logos into your stream.
Image Carousel
The Image Carousel widget creates a gallery of images from your media library that are visible in the stream. For example, you could create a social media rotator with it.
Scene
This widget allows you to embed a scene from the Scene Builder. This lets you integrate previously created scenes or layouts into your open scene. It’s helpful, for example, when you want to set up your live chat only once and then integrate it into every other scene 1:1. Once you adapt the live chat scene, you adjust the remaining scenes as well.
Text
The Text widget displays static text. Ideal for social media hints!
Video
The Video widget displays a video from your media library. This allows you to upload and play your own overlays or other video files, among other things.
Alert Box
The Alert Box displays all the latest events affecting your community, such as new followers, subscribers, donations, and more. This is particularly helpful for drawing attention to important live events or actions. Alerts usually come with a design animation, a sound, and a text displaying event information. So you'll know immediately who, for example, is becoming a part of your community as a new follower.
Chat Box
The Chat Box displays all incoming chat messages, promoting interaction in your stream. Choose between different designs and options to create your unique chat box.
Label
The Label widget displays the latest events, including the newest follower, subscriber, and more. It allows for the direct display of community updates in real time. Additionally, a label offers a special placement in the stream, making viewers feel appreciated for their actions. In combination with an alert, every stream event becomes a spectacle.
Label Widget: Putting your community in focus
With the Label Widget, you can direct your viewers' attention to important information within the stream. The Label Widget lets you present this information prominently and attractively in your stream, whether it's the latest follower, recent cheers, or other exciting community events. We'll show you how to cleverly utilize this widget to deepen your connection with your community.
Adding the Label Widget to the Scene Builder
Once you're done, simply save the scene and, if not already done, add it to your broadcasting tool. If you need help with how to do that, read more here.
Livechat-Widget: Engaging your community’s conversation
The Livechat Widget serves as the virtual stage for your community, where real-time interactions are visible. This dynamism isn't limited to just the livestream; even when you upload your content later to platforms like YouTube or TikTok, you can capture your community's spontaneous reactions to special events using the Livechat Box in the video and share them with the world.

Alert Box Widget: Putting your community events in the spotlight
The Alert Box serves as the attention-grabbing director for all the special moments in your streaming community. Here, the latest events, like followers, subscribers, donations, and more, are presented in real-time. This box is your direct channel to highlight important occurrences live, supported by design animations, sounds, and informative text for each event. This keeps you not only up to date but also allows you to express your appreciation for every new follower or donation directly.
Creating and editing alerts
If you're just starting out, you'll first need an alert set that you can insert as a widget into your scene or broadcasting tool. Here, we'll show you step-by-step how to edit your alerts and give your stream a personal touch.

Switching Pro-Plugin Alerts: From V3 to V4
This is important for existing users who have already integrated the OWN3D Pro OBS plugin and thus alerts:
Existing users who want to change their alerts should consider that they need to switch from V3 to V4. If you do not migrate your alert sets from V3 to V4, you can continue to use the V3 alerts of your Pro plugin, but you won't be able to edit them anymore.
If you want to convert your old alert set to V4, simply click on "Edit alert". You will recognize your old alert set by the V3 label. Then, you will receive a notice that you need to switch this alert to V4. Once you have done that, the same alert set will appear as a V4 version. You can then activate and edit it.
Once you have switched from V3 to V4 and added the browser sources from V4 to your scene in OBS Studio, turn off the alerts of the Pro plugin in your OBS sources. You can do this by clicking the eye symbol in your sources.
Browser Source Widget: Seamless integration of third-party tools

From websites to other internet-based content relying on browser sources, this widget makes integration a breeze. Perfect for using third-party tools like Kappamon or similar services.

For example, if you already have an overlay from OWN3D.tv, you can load these videos directly into the Scene Builder with the Video Widget.
