What had happened?
MontanaBlack had planned to celebrate his big Twitch comeback after his ban. Together with his friends unsympathischTV, inscope21 and ELoTRIX he wanted to fly to Malta and stream from there. Only a few days ago Monte announced that there will be a big comeback stream on the island. They were looking forward to a trip to the beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea, but their plans have been turned upside down. MontanaBlack announced on Twitter: Won’t be flying to Malta 😢.
Writing these lines must have been quite difficult for him, but the vast majority of his fans can understand his decision and try to cheer him up with nice words.
How did the cancellation happen?
He made this sensible decision because of the problematic COVID19 situation and the approaching second wave of the pandemic. MontanaBlack doesn't feel comfortable flying off on vacation during such a situation. The streamer and his friends stopped all vacation planning. They will possibly make up for the trip when the situation has calmed down a bit. Even though he found the decision difficult, his community is sure that this was the only right decision. Many wonder what MontanaBlack is up to now and we will learn more about it on October 29th, as the ban expires on that day.
Why was MontanaBlack banned for 33 days on Twitch?
MontanaBlack got his Twitch ban during his vacations in Malta. He vlogged, organized small IRL streams and documented his vacation with his best friend Memmo on Instagram. During these recordings, he repeatedly made strange noises and questionable statements as soon as he saw women on the street. He shouted lewd remarks while photographing a random woman at the pool by using his zoomed in camera. The streamer HandOfBlood shared a summary of these scenes on Twitter and wrote "What is this? Is nobody noticing this right now? Why is something like this allowed on Twitch? What were you thinking? Incredibly embarrassing.
As a result a huge Shitstorm arose. Many well-known streamers were outraged, until Twitch heard about it and punished MontanaBlack immediately with a 33-day ban.
