What are Twitch Bit badges?
Twitch Bit badges are those badges that appear in your Twitch chat next to a viewer's name when they donate a certain number of Bits. The higher the donation, the cooler and more eye-catching the Twitch Bit badge. So not only does the entire chat see how generous someone was, but so do you! Twitch affiliates and Twitch partners can use bits and associated Twitch Bit badges.
Why should I use Twitch Bit badges?
Donations are always excellent for a content creator because they show viewers want to support the work and you as a person. Therefore, you should ensure that your viewers get something out of it when they gift you Bits. The perfect way to make this happen is to use personalized new Twitch Bit badges that match the overall look of your channel. These can be managed and changed directly on Twitch, making setup a breeze.
How to add Twitch Bit badges to Twitch?

Affiliates and partners can upload their Bit badge designs and change the names of the various Bit levels. Then, as soon as someone cheers (that's what donating Bits is called) and reaches certain levels, a Bit badge is displayed next to the chat name.
With just one Bit donated, viewers will receive a Twitch Bit badge in front of their name. So they are motivated to donate Bits early and support you financially in your work!
On Twitch, there is only the possibility to upload static Bit badges via .PNG files.
By default, Twitch provides Bit badges that are automatically assigned to the respective levels. Each channel has these automatically once you reach the Twitch affiliate. Regular Twitch users are already familiar with them and know what's behind the badges. By everyone having these free Twitch Bit badges, they need more uniqueness and most likely don't match the rest of your design. That's why you'll find numerous new Twitch Bit badge designs in the OWN3D store. Feel free to browse through the different Bit badges and find one that suits your taste.
Unlike the Twitch Sub badge, which only appears when someone is an active subscriber, the Twitch Bit badge stays in front of your viewers' names forever. Even if someone last donated 5,000 Bits with their Twitch account years ago, the Bit badge will remain with them for 5,000 Bits.
If you upload personalized Bit badges for Twitch, they will be displayed directly in your live chat. Every viewer can see the Twitch Bit badges next to their name in your chat.
These should be in PNG format with a transparent background and should not be larger than 40 KB. Three sizes must be uploaded: 18 x 18 px, 36 x 36 px, and 72 x 72 px. But don't worry: the Twitch Bit badges you get from us come in the perfect size. So you can upload the designs directly to your channel.
It's optional to upload personalized Twitch Bit badges. But you offer your community an added value for their support that they might not find elsewhere. Besides the numerous Twitch streamers who still need to change the classic Bit badges, your personalized Twitch Bit badges will stand out in your chat.
You must follow the Twitch Terms of Service if you want to upload badges for your channel. All guidelines and details about Twitch Bit badges can be foundhere! Of course, we take special care when creating our badges to ensure they meet all the guidelines!
You also have three Bit emotes available to your viewers by default. Starting at 1,000 Bits, viewers can unlock an emote as a reward. So be sure to fill your Twitch Bit emote slots as soon as you become a Twitch affiliate.
This can be due to the following reasons: Either the person has yet to donate any Bits or has yet to activate the individual badge for your channel. By clicking on "Chat Identity" next to the chat text field, it is possible to activate the individual badges and select the Bit badge. Furthermore, it is also possible that the viewer has too many badges. This is because only three badges can be displayed on Twitch simultaneously. In this case, too, your viewer can adjust his badges using the "Chat identity."
